ABOUT KACP

KACP was formed in 1992 with a mission to promote excellence in laboratory practice in the country and has a membership of over 150 specialist and general pathologists and laboratory scientists. It plays a major role as an advisor to the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board on matters pertaining to laboratory practice and training of pathologists and laboratory specialists. KACP also spearheaded the formation of the College of pathologists of East, Central and Southern Africa (COPECSA) whose key role is to improve and standardize training of pathologists in the region

ABOUT THE KACP CONFERENCE 2019

The Kenya Association of Clinical Pathologists (KACP) is holding its 13th Biennial Scientific Conference on October 16th – 18th, 2019 at the Southern Palms Beach Resort , Kenya. The Conference Organizing Committee is delighted to invite you to partner with them at this forum that brings together pathologists, laboratory scientists and indeed multiple other medical specialists from the world over. The theme of the meeting is “Pathology in Universal Health Coverage: Bridging the gap” The contributions pathology and laboratory medicine make in enhancing access to quality universal health coverage.

Poster Presentation Guide

The formal poster presentation session will be held on Tuesday October 17th, 2019 at 1:00 pm.

Posters will be also available to view on the first conference day during session breaks and lunchtime in the exhibition space.

Please print your poster in portrait format in A0 size.

Ideally text, paragraph and figure captions, diagrams, charts should be large enough to read with ease at a distance of 1 m.

Each presenter is provided with a poster board, which will be marked with an individual number.
